Other Ways to Give

The Arizona Community Foundation houses many funds that provide donors an opportunity to contribute to the community including funds that were established to honor the memory of a loved one who passed away, scholarship funds that support postsecondary education opportunities, and place-based giving options that extend beyond our regional offices.

Memorial Funds

Some ACF donors choose to create a fund to memorialize a loved one, inviting friends and family to contribute to the fund in lieu of sympathy gifts. Explore some recently established memorial funds below.

Morrison Elliott Warren Memorial Fund

The Morrison Elliott Warren Memorial Fund has been established to accept donations to issue scholarships to deserving high school students from Arizona who attend Stanford University.

The Rick Lee Charitable Fund

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Rick Lee passed away on December 11, 2022 surrounded by his family. In loving memory and to honor and perpetuate his life of generosity, his family has established the Rick Lee Charitable Fund.

Terry Pilon Girls Sports Memorial Fund

Coach Terry’s family established this memorial fund in his honor, to help continue his legacy and belief that all girls should have an equal opportunity to play sports and be coached with the same level of excellence, passion and rigor that boys are coached.

Scholarship Funds

Awarding scholarships to students is among the most rewarding kinds of philanthropy. You can create your own fund named after you or your family, or support an existing scholarship fund with your gift.

The Bishop Henry L. Barnwell Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to realize the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the dream of the late Bishop Henry L. Barnwell, Founder/Chair of the Arizona MLK Celebration Scholarship Committee. That dream is equal access to higher education through scholarships.
