Remembering Dr. Lattie F. Coor

We are heartbroken by the passing of Dr. Lattie F. Coor, a titan of Arizona civic life whose vision helped shape the state we serve. 

Best known as the 15th president of Arizona State University, where he elevated ASU into a national research institution and expanded it across the Valley, Dr. Coor spent his life proving what is possible when leadership is paired with love of Arizona. After his presidency, he founded the Center for the Future of Arizona to turn research and good ideas into measurable change for Arizonans.

To all of us at ACF, Dr. Coor modeled the very spirit of philanthropy: a belief that when we invest in our neighbors, the whole state rises. His legacy will be felt for generations. We hold his family and loved ones close in our thoughts.
