Thomas K. Hall, 59, passed away on September 27th, 2021 of Covid pneumonia, one hour before his 60th birthday. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Lynn Umphres. He was the loving step dad to her children, Kaytie and Garett Jaksch. He was also the proud step dad of Josh Scott. He is also survived by his mother, Pat Hall; and his four siblings: Jeanne, Anne, Nancy, and Doug.

Tom was born in New York state and migrated to Arizona with his family in his teens. He has left behind life long friendships with Malcom, Steve, and Evan; whom he met when he first moved to Arizona.

Tom worked at Southwest Fabrication for over 20 years and left a legacy at the shop and throughout the state of Arizona. Tom engineered most of the machinery that will be used at Southwest Fabrication for decades to come. He was a true genius, who lived to shoot a game of pool at the local tavern.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Thomas K. Hall Memorial fund, which supports the arts. In his spare time Tom used his artistic talent to make eccentric pieces of art with metal. In his own words, “All artists start out struggling and starving, maybe I can help them someday.”
