Grant Cycles
While statewide funding opportunities are available year-round, two grant cycles are available each spring for nonprofits serving Flagstaff, Page/Lake Powell, Tuba City, Williams, and other northern Arizona communities.
Timeline for 2023
Below are important milestones for the ACF of Flagstaff grant cycle (open to nonprofits serving Flagstaff) and the Northern Arizona Regional grant cycle (open to nonprofits serving Page/Lake Powell, Williams, and Tuba City).
WINTER
February 17 & 23: Northern Arizona Regional Grant Workshops takes place to prepare organizations for applying. Organizations are strongly encouraged to register and attend. Download the grant guidelines here.
SPRING
March 1: Northern Arizona Regional Grant Cycle application opens.
March 22: Northern Arizona Regional Grant Cycle application closes.
April 25 & 27: Flagstaff Grant Cycle workshops take place. Attendance is strongly encouraged; register here and download the grant guidelines here.
May 12: Northern Arizona Regional grant award and decline notifications sent out.
May 23: Flagstaff Grant Cycle application closes.
May 31: If organization was funded for the Northern Arizona Regional grant cycle, checks presented locally or mailed by the end of the month.
SUMMER
June: Flagstaff applicant interviews take place.
July 31: Flagstaff grant award and decline notifications sent out by the end of the month.
August: Flagstaff grantee recognition event takes place and checks presented to organizations who received funding through Flagstaff grant cycle.
