Grant Cycles
While statewide funding opportunities are available year-round, two grant cycles are available each spring for nonprofits serving Cochise and eastern Santa Cruz counties.
Timeline for 2023
Below are important milestones for the Patagonia Regional Community Fund grant cycle (open to nonprofits serving eastern Santa Cruz County) and ACF of Cochise grant cycle (open to nonprofits serving Cochise County). The applications have closed for both grant cycles and will reopen in 2024.
WINTER
January 3: Patagonia Regional Community Fund grant application opens at 9:00 a.m.
January 5: Patagonia Regional Community Fund Grant Application Workshop takes place to prepare organizations for applying. Organizations are strongly encouraged to register and attend.
February 7: Patagonia Regional Community Fund Applications are due no later than 4:00 p.m.
February 27: Patagonia Regional Community Fund applications are reviewed by grant panel.
SPRING
March: Patagonia Regional Community Fund grant award and decline notifications sent out.
April and May: Cochise workshops take place to prepare organizations for applying. These are mandatory in order to apply.
May 15: Cochise grant cycle application opens at 9:00 a.m. Only organizations who attended a grant application workshop may apply.
June 5: Cochise grant cycle applications are due no later than 4:00 p.m. Only organizations who attended a grant application workshop may apply.
SUMMER
Mid-June through mid-July: Cochise grant applications reviewed.
July 31: Grant award and decline letters tentatively sent out.
Fall
Mid-October: Cochise Grant Awards Celebration tentatively scheduled. Grantees encouraged to attend.
