The Wellik Foundation’s 25-Year Track Record in Wickenburg
For more than 25 years, the Wellik Foundation, a supporting organization of the Arizona Community Foundation, has quietly shaped the future of Wickenburg. In that time it has invested nearly $15 million in local grants, reaching more than 54 nonprofits and institutions across education, health care, the arts, and economic development.
What began as one woman's vision has become a lasting engine of local good. Viola Wellik established the foundation in 1998 to protect the quality of life she loved, and the investment created through her generosity continues to answer her community's needs today. It is a powerful reminder of what giving can build when it is rooted in place. For us, and for the donors who make this work possible, Community is our Middle Name.
