Roop Wazir
Board Relations Manager
Roop Wazir is the Board Relations Manager at the Arizona Community Foundation, where she partners closely with the General Counsel to provide strategic and administrative leadership for all board-related matters. In this role, she manages board communications, governance processes, and special projects, ensuring ACF’s board operations run seamlessly and effectively. Roop was promoted to this role in August 2025 after serving as the Board Relations & Administrative Coordinator.
Prior to joining ACF, Roop was a Program Officer at the Next50 Foundation, where she oversaw grantmaking and initiatives designed to advance equity and strengthen communities. With a career spanning philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, and community impact work, she brings a strong track record of building relationships, managing complex projects, and delivering results that drive social change.
Roop holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Arizona and a Master of International Development & Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Denver.
