Myriah Mhoon

Director, Organizational Philanthropy

Myriah Mhoon is the Director for Organizational Philanthropy at the Arizona Community Foundation, where she develops and leads the engagement strategy with institutional fundholders, including nonprofit organizations, corporate fundholders, and other mission-aligned entities.

Prior to ACF, Myriah was the CEO at New Life Center, one of the country’s largest domestic violence shelters, serving individuals and families impacted by family and interpersonal violence. Other roles in her career include Program Administrator of Federal DOJ & ACF Funds at the Arizona Governor’s Office, and Statewide Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Coordinator at Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence.

Myriah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services & Women’s Health from Prescott College. She is deeply involved in the community, serving on a variety of boards and task forces, and recently joined ACF’s African American Women’s Giving and Empowerment Circle.
