Gwen Groth joined the organization as Administrative Assistant for the Arizona Community Foundation Northern Region office in Flagstaff in 2012. She was named Regional Philanthropic Coordinator in 2015 and Regional Philanthropic Advisor in 2021. She is currently serving in an interim role as the Acting Regional Manager.
Gwen graduated from Northern Arizona University with a communications degree and quickly began working in the nonprofit community in Flagstaff. She began her journey as a patient services manager at the American Cancer Society. Prior to her arrival at ACF, Gwen was the executive director for Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona where she was instrumental in opening the Restore and negotiating a land trust program with the City of Flagstaff. She currently serves on the Arizona Historical Society, Northern Chapter board and is a volunteer docent at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park.
