Community Investment Manger

Gregorio Montes de Oca joined the Arizona Community Foundation in 2021 as Community Investment Coordinator and was promoted to Community Investment Manager in July 2022. In this role, he supports research, data analysis and reporting, and will serve as a project manager for the community investment team. He also supports the grants management and education & scholarships teams during peak periods and serves as a vital cross-department link in communicating ACF’s investments into the community.

Prior to ACF, Gregorio managed diversity, equity, inclusion programs and community partnership efforts for Mountain Park Health Center. He also previously led the Boys and Men of Color Campaign at The California Endowment in Fresno, CA. His work focused on partnering with grantees & coalition groups on building power and creating systemic change in their communities. Originally from Washington State, Gregorio holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Chicano/a Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York. Gregorio serves as a health equity core member of the Arizona Department of Health Services’ (ADHS) Health Improvement Plan Partnership and is a member of ASU’s Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center Community Advisory Board.
