Gregorio Montes de Oca, MPA
Senior Learning Officer, Evaluation & Impact
As Senior Learning Officer, Evaluation & Impact, Gregorio Montes de Oca supports the strengthening of the foundation’s learning and evaluation practices, helping assess the effectiveness of grantmaking and guiding board and donor investments toward Arizona’s most pressing needs. He was promoted to his current role in August 2025, having previously served as a Community Impact Officer, Community Investment Coordinator, and Community Investment Manager.
Gregorio serves as a Steering Committee member for the Tax Equity Funders Network and is a member of ASU’s Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center Community Advisory Board. Prior to ACF, Gregorio managed diversity, equity, inclusion programs and community partnership efforts for Mountain Park Health Center. As a National Urban Fellow, he co-led the Boys and Men of Color Campaign at The California Endowment. Originally from Washington State, Gregorio holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Chicano/a Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York.
