Benjamin Thomas

Benjamin Thomas is a Senior Donor Experience Advisor at the Arizona Community Foundation. Initially joining ACF in June 2024 as a Donor Experience Advisor, his role develops personalized philanthropy plans tailored to meet both individual and organizational philanthropic objectives, with the aim of positively impacting Arizona’s future. He also supports the cultivation of current planned giving efforts to help donors achieve their philanthropic goals.

Prior to ACF, he served as a communications and marketing associate at a registered investment advisory firm managing over $200 million in assets. Before relocating to Phoenix, Ben spent a decade in Washington, DC, where he worked in the political, nonprofit, and private sectors.

Ben holds a Master’s in Global Management from Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. During his studies, he worked as a Strategic Research Analyst for the Arizona State University Foundation, focusing on emerging trends and strategic fundraising plans for ASUF’s Presidential Advancement Team and the Moonshot Accelerator Program. Additionally, Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy and History from the College of Idaho, Caldwell, ID, and studied in both Cusco, Peru, and Quito, Ecuador.
