Anne Medina-Doak

Director, Policy and Public Affairs

As the Director of Policy and Public Affairs, Anne will represent ACF with local, county, state, and federal elected and agency officials to positively influence policy outcomes that will further our impact across Arizona. Additionally, Anne will work across the organization to align ACF’s policy efforts with our programs, initiatives, and grantmaking, and will develop bill summaries, policy briefs, and talking points for staff members, the board, and affiliate boards of advisors to elevate messaging and transparency around the foundation’s policy positions.

Prior to ACF, Anne worked at Raza Development Fund (RDF), the nation’s largest Latino focused Community Development Financial Institution, where she served as Director of Government and Community Relations. In her current role, Anne leads the organization’s outreach to public agencies and officials and develops and implements public involvement strategies to create positive engagement within the community and strengthen RDF’s brand image.

Anne worked as Community Outreach Manager in the United States Senate where she served as Senator McCain’s liaison to the community and collaborated with local and state governments, as well as federal agencies. Additionally, Anne worked closely with the Senator’s team in DC to inform legislative initiatives and policy actions and developed strategic outreach opportunities to advance these priorities.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Arizona State University.
