Alicia Romero Rodriguez
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Alicia Romero Rodriguez is Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Arizona Community Foundation, where she leads the organization’s brand strategy and storytelling to amplify ACF’s impact as Arizona’s most trusted philanthropic leader. A native Arizonan who grew up in South Phoenix and Guadalupe, Alicia is bringing integrated marketing expertise from global brands to amplify local impact—with a singular mission: to build a more equitable Arizona for the next generation.
Over 20 years, Alicia has shaped the narrative for some of the world’s most influential brands. As Vice President of Integrated Brand Communications and Cultural Relevancy at The Estée Lauder Companies, she pioneered breakthrough strategies that transformed how prestige beauty reflects diverse communities. Her expertise spans brand positioning, cultural storytelling, and inclusive marketing across Fortune 500 corporations and private equity brands, where she nurtured and scaled multiple brands with authenticity and impact.
A first-generation Mexican American and product of Arizona’s public school system, Alicia’s professional success was made possible by the very community organizations ACF supports—nonprofits that provided equitable opportunities. Now, she’s closing the loop. Her work at ACF centers on elevating the stories of communities often unseen, connecting donors to transformative impact, and ensuring Arizona’s philanthropic ecosystem reflects the vibrant, multicultural state she calls home.
Alicia is passionate about creating opportunities for her two daughters and future generations to thrive in the state she loves and calls home.
