Abigail Castillo joined the Arizona Community Foundation in 2021 as Grants Coordinator. In this role, she primarily supports ACF’s competitive grant programs, coordinating processes and communications with grant applicants, recipients, and review committee members. Additionally, Abigail presents information about ACF’s competitive grant programs to community partners via grants workshops and provides additional support for non-competitive grantmaking during peak periods throughout the year.
Prior to ACF, Abigail worked at Manual’s Mexican Food Corporate Office- Restaurant Solutions where she managed health care benefits administration, employee recruitment, and management training on company policies and procedures. Prior to that, Abigail served as a career advisor for the City of Phoenix’s Strengthening Working Families Initiative and as an intern and case manager for Child & Family Resources. A native Arizonan, Abigail holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, both in Social Work, from Arizona State University.
