Real Engagement through
Active Philanthropy

Giving circles provide the opportunity to contribute to a common cause, capitalizing on the strength of collaboration and the power of endowment.

Become a philanthropist and leave a legacy

THE REAP MISSION:
Provide Black men with a mechanism for community investment through strategic philanthropy.

Together, the giving circle’s members accelerate the growth in assets with their contributions. The Arizona Community Foundation administers the endowed funds with careful management, increasing the grantmaking power of the giving circle over time.

Join the Giving Circle and Give Now

Real Engagement through Active Philanthropy, like other philanthropic giving circles, is an opportunity to contribute to a common cause with financial support and with active involvement in the distribution of funds.

To add your financial support and join REAP, go to the GIVE NOW tab below.

Through the REAP fund, a collaborative fund established at the Arizona Community Foundation in 2014, the giving circle will leave a legacy of giving for future generations by reinvesting in and strengthening our communities.

This charitable fund allows members to determine which organizations and programs to support. The focus areas for REAP include:

  • Career Exploration
  • Succession Planning
  • Educational Enrichment
  • College Preparation

The mission of the REAP giving circle is to provide Black men with a mechanism for community investment through strategic philanthropy.

Members of REAP commit to contributing $1,000 per year/$83.33 monthly or $500 per year/$41.67 monthly to the REAP Fund in support of grantmaking and endowment building.

Friends of REAP are men and women of any ethnic background interested in supporting the mission of REAP by contributing to the fund in any amount.

REAP was founded by four visionary leaders who were inspired to create new gateways to philanthropy in communities that historically have not participated in philanthropy, while leveraging social, intellectual and financial capital to develop collective influence.

Join us in achieving our goal of supporting programs and organizations within our funding priority areas.

We want to create a new norm and expectation when it comes to giving back. In order to do that, we must create new ‘on ramps’ to philanthropy for communities. REAP is an invitation to do just that.
