The Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff is a family of charitable funds created for the community, by the community. Some funds have a broad grantmaking focus while others target a specific organization or field.
During the 12-month period ending March 31, 2018, the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff awarded more than $2 million in grants and scholarships through the competitive grants process and through the advice of donors who have established funds with ACF of Flagstaff. Since inception, ACF of Flagstaff has awarded nearly $21.7 million in grants and scholarships to Flagstaff nonprofit organizations and students.
2019 Competitive Grants Process
Flagstaff Grant Cycle
In preparation for the annual competitive grants process, the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff invites representatives of local nonprofit organizations, public schools, municipalities, and Tribal entities to attend a grant application workshop. Attendance for one of the workshops is mandatory if your organization wishes to apply for grants in 2019.
Topics to be discussed at the workshop include application instructions, grant guidelines, eligibility requirements, and an overview of the online grants center and application process. The online applications will open Monday, May 20, 2019, with final applications due no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14.

Northern Arizona Regional Grant Cycle
The annual competitive grants process for the Northern Arizona Regional Grants, facilitated by the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff, will provide financial support for projects and programs serving Tuba City, Williams, and Page/Lake Powell residents.
The online application is now closed. Grant recipients will be announced in the summer of 2019.

Grants were awarded to organizations in the area of healthcare, youth, arts and culture, social services, education, the environment, and animal welfare. The contributions from ACF of Flagstaff bring the total philanthropic impact to over $3.1 million distributed in the past year to support area nonprofit organizations and provide scholarships for local students.
