Through its annual competitive grants process, the Patagonia Regional Community Fund provides funding opportunities to nonprofit organizations, public schools, Tribal entities, and government agencies for projects serving local communities. The online application will open at www.azfoundation.org/grants on Monday, January 7 at 9:00 a.m. Completed applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28.
The Patagonia Regional Community Fund’s Steering Committee will evaluate proposed projects based on their ability to meet the needs of the community. Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded to support projects serving Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, and Canelo.

To prepare for the upcoming Patagonia Regional Community Fund grant cycle, nonprofits serving Eastern Santa Cruz County are invited to attend a grant workshop to learn about the application process and elements of an effective application.
Representatives of nonprofit organizations, public schools, churches, government agencies, and Tribal entities can attend the upcoming Grant Workshop on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at The Patagonia Museum; 100 School Street, Patagonia.
The grant application will be available online beginning January 7, 2019. To be considered for eligibility, applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 28, 2019. A selection committee made up of local volunteers will evaluate proposed projects based on their ability to address the needs of the community. Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded to support projects serving Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, and Canelo.
Topics to be discussed during the workshop include the application timeline, building a successful budget, guidelines, and instructions for the Arizona Community Foundation grants center. Registration for the workshop is now open.
