Lisa Sahady named Regional Director at ACF of Yavapai County
The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County is pleased to announce that Lisa Sahady will assume the Regional Director position beginning April 1, 2021. She succeeds Carol Chamberlain who plans to retire from the foundation on March 31, 2021.
In this role, Sahady will lead the affiliate office in asset development, donor engagement, community leadership, nonprofit capacity building, and strategic grantmaking.
Sahady has worked as ACF of Yavapai County’s Regional Philanthropic Advisor since 2016. During her time in this role, she worked closely with the nonprofit community through her leadership in administering the annual local competitive grant cycle. She also helped increase ACF’s asset base by building relationships with professional advisors. Most recently, Sahady received her Certified Gift Planning Professional designation through Crescendo’s Gift College.
ACF of Yavapai County’s Early Childhood Literacy project is one of Sahady’s most notable contributions to the foundation. The program helped students within the Prescott
Unified School District read at proficient levels by the end of third grade. Additionally, the annual Cash for College and Joy of Giving programs have become signature events for the community in no small part thanks to Sahady.
Prior to joining ACF, Sahady served as the Program Director for Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters and Arizona Children’s Association. In total, she has worked in Yavapai County’s nonprofit community for the past 15 years. “It has been such a joy and pleasure to work throughout this amazing county over the years,” said Sahady. “I look forward to the opportunities of helping donors fulfill their philanthropic wishes.”
