Grants & Initiatives

The Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona is a family of charitable funds created for the community, by the community. Some funds have a broad grantmaking focus while others target a specific organization or field.

During the 12-month period ending March 31, 2019, the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona awarded over $112,000 in grants and scholarships through the competitive grants process and through the advice of donors who have established funds with ACF of Sedona. Since inception, ACF of Sedona has awarded over $6.7 million in total grants and scholarships to nonprofit organizations and students from Sedona and the Verde Valley.

2020 Competitive Grants

The annual competitive grant cycle for the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona will provide funding for projects and programs serving Sedona and the Verde Valley's residents. The grant application is now closed. Grantees will be announced in the fall of 2020.

2019 Competitive Grants

The 2019 competitive grant process for the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona concluded with the awarding of $168,000 to 49 nonprofit organizations. Grants were awarded to organizations supporting projects in social services, healthcare, environment, animal welfare, and more.
