Grants & Initiatives

The Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona is a family of charitable funds created for the community, by the community. Some funds have a broad grantmaking focus while others target a specific organization or field.

During the 12-month period ending March 31, 2020, the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona awarded over $443,000 in grants and scholarships through the competitive grants process and through the advice of donors who have established funds with ACF of Sedona. Since inception, ACF of Sedona has awarded over $7 million in total grants and scholarships to nonprofit organizations and students from Sedona and the Verde Valley.

2022 Competitive Grants

In preparation for the annual competitive grants cycle, ACF of Sedona will host a series of mandatory workshops for organizations in Sedona and the Verde Valley wishing to apply for funding. Check back for more information, or contact the office at 928.399.7218.

2021 Competitive Grants

The 2021 competitive grant process for the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona concluded with the awarding of over $172,000 to 41 nonprofit organizations.
