Armando G. Roman elected to Arizona Community Foundation Board of Directors
The Arizona Community Foundation’s Board of Directors elected Armando G. Roman, CPA/PFS, MBA to the board. Roman was elected during the board’s September meeting and began his term immediately. ACF Board members serve three-year terms, renewable up to two times.
Roman is CEO of AXIOM Financial Resources, Inc., a family office that helps founders of family-owned businesses preserve their American success story. Roman founded AXIOM in 2001.
“Our clients are people of faith, family people, first generation wealth, people who want to make a lasting difference in their families and in Arizona, and have the financial capacity to do so,” said Roman.
Roman currently serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, is a former Commissioner of the National CPA Financial Literacy Commission (AICPA), a former Governing Council member of the AICPA, and a former Chairman of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Drexel University. Roman and his wife Jennifer have been married 28 years and have three adult children, two sons and a daughter.
