Arizona Community Foundation and donors distribute $29.3 million in second quarter grants and scholarships
The Arizona Community Foundation and its donors are pleased to announce grant and scholarship distributions for the second quarter of its fiscal year. Between July 1 and September 30, 2021, a total of $29,292,494 was awarded from funds of the Arizona Community Foundation and its six statewide affiliates in Cochise, Flagstaff, the Gila Valley, Sedona, Yavapai County, and Yuma.

Christy and Daryl Burton, long-time Arizona philanthropists and founders of the Burton Family Foundation, a supporting organization of the Arizona Community Foundation, have contributed real estate assets totaling $129 million to ACF, making it the largest charitable gift to the foundation over its 43-year history.

ACF of Flagstaff activates Disaster Relief Fund in response to flash floods
In response to the heavy rainfall resulting in severe flash floods, the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff has activated the Flagstaff Flash Flood Disaster Relief Fund. ACF has seeded the fund with $10,000 to support recovery and rebuilding efforts.

Join us for Cash for College, an annual event hosted by the Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County that connects local scholarship providers with students and families.

Attendees will learn about opportunities available to them, whether they are interested in pursuing a degree from a four-year university, a two-year college, or a career/technical program. All students are welcome, including those who are returning to school.

For the first time, the event will take place on two consecutive evenings in a virtual, interactive platform! Attend the evening that works best for you, or tune in both nights to maximize your time with our many scholarship providers.
