Arizona Community Foundation and donors distribute $32.3 million in first quarter grants and scholarships
The Arizona Community Foundation and its donors are pleased to announce grant and scholarship distributions for the first quarter of its fiscal year. Between April 1 and June 30, 2022, a total of $32,296,382 was awarded from funds of the Arizona Community Foundation and its six statewide regional offices in: Cochise, Flagstaff, the Gila Valley, Sedona, Yavapai County, and Yuma.

ACF’s Kellenberger + Tollefson Center for LGBTQ Philanthropy announces grant awards totaling $247,900
This is the largest annual grant distribution in the 17-year history of the Kellenberger + Tollefson Center and ACF’s dedicated funds supporting the LGBTQ community. During the Center’s last annual grant cycle in 2019, the total invested in the community was $40,000.

This event is presented by our partners at East Valley Estate Planning Council.

You will encounter a situation where a previously drafted irrevocable trust is defective and requires modification. The defect may be due to a change in the law, a change in a beneficiaries’ status, or in drafting errors.

There are several ways to ‘fix’ an irrevocable trust. These include Decanting as well as both judicial and non-judicial modification. Join Trevor Whiting and Louis Silverman as they review modification methods, governing laws, and necessary parties that may be needed during the process.
