To prepare for their upcoming annual competitive grant cycles, the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma and San Luis Community Fund invite representatives of local nonprofit organizations, public schools, government agencies, and Tribal entities to attend one of three free grant workshops.
Each workshop will take place from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited.

Topics to be discussed include an overview of the ACF online grants center, grant guidelines, and elements of an effective application.
ACF of Yuma accepts funding requests for projects and programs that support youth, healthcare, arts and culture, and an unrestricted fund. Grant applicants must provide services within the geographic area of Yuma County. The San Luis Community Fund accepts funding requests for projects and programs that support youth, healthcare, and arts and culture. Grant applicants must provide services to residents of San Luis, AZ.
The 2019 competitive grants process for ACF of Yuma and the San Luis Community Fund will begin Monday, July 22, with final applications due no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16.

The Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma has awarded more than $81,750 in scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year. Listed below are the 20 Yuma County Scholars who are pursuing degrees in a variety of disciplines at Arizona Western College, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University, Grand Canyon University, and universities outside Arizona.
Since it was established in 1993, the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma has placed a high priority on education. Through the competitive application process of the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma, grant funding will be awarded for nonprofit organizations and programs serving Yuma residents. To learn more about the application process and elements of an effective application, representatives of nonprofit organizations, public schools, municipalities and Tribal entities are invited to attend an upcoming grant workshop.
Topics to be discussed during the workshop include the application timeline, eligibility requirements, guidelines and instructions for the Arizona Community Foundation online grants center.
