The Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma invites local students, their families, and educators to learn more about post-secondary scholarships and vocational trainings available for both traditional and non-traditional students at their annual Cash for College Scholarship Awareness Night.
The event will take place on Tuesday, January 22 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Yuma Main Library. Staff from ACF of Yuma and other local scholarship providers will be available during the event to answer questions and share information. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
Through the Arizona Community Foundation’s online scholarship system, students are matched with more than 100 scholarships for which they may qualify. Application requirements for scholarships that were established specifically for Yuma students will be explained during the event. ACF of Yuma is an affiliate of the Arizona Community Foundation, the largest private provider of scholarships in the state.
If you provide a scholarship supporting Yuma students and are interested in educating students on specific application requirements and other important information, please register at ACFCashCollegeYuma2019.eventbrite.com. An informational booklet with ACF of Yuma scholarship opportunities will be distributed during the event to give students and parents a reference guide for the available scholarships.
