Funds - Quote

Funds of the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma are created by local residents to serve the local community.

The assets of the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma are professionally managed, benefiting from the advantages and economies of scale associated with being part of the Arizona Community Foundation's larger investments pools.

Soldwedel Family ACF of Yuma Administrative Endowment

Sustainability is important for any organization. Generous donors Don and Luda Soldwedel, with an additional contribution by Donna and Kirby Kongable, believed in the importance of the work undertaken by the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma. Because of that belief, they established this important fund to keep our local operations going strong. Some donors have chosen to give a fixed dollar amount, or percentage of their estate, to support this fund. Additional contributions to the fund are gratefully received.

ACF of Yuma's Community Fund

This unrestricted community fund allows the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma to respond to changing community needs. Grantmaking decisions are reviewed by the local Board of Advisors with input from grants panelists.

We wanted to honor the memory of a very special person in our lives and it seemed quite appropriate to establish a scholarship in his name.  In order to honor our mother/mother-in-law, we decided to establish an additional fund to support the education of new nurses in Yuma County.  We appreciate all the assistance that the Yuma Community Foundation has given us to help fulfill our charitable goals.
